The world's oldest known diamonds have been found covered in a crystal in Western Australia, scientists say.

The minuscule gemstones are 4.25 billion years old and could provide a unusual glimpse into Earth's distant geologic past.

"No one would have actually predicted that diamonds were in there," said Simon Wilde, a geologist at Curtin University of Technology in Perth and a member of the team that made the find.

The discovery suggests that seas of molten lava that covered primeval Earth had cooled down faster than had previously been thought.

The find also suggests that plate tectonics, the process by which large shelves of Earth's crust move to create geologic activity may have already been started.

"A diamond would never form in a magma ocean," said Thorsten Geisler, a geologist at Westfalische Wilhelms-Universitaet in Munster, Germany, and another team member.

The discovery is a shocker to geologists, many of whom believed that the molten lava and volcanic activity persisted on Earth's surface for at least 500 million years after our planet formed some 4.5 billion years ago.

The hair of Michael Jackson when he was sent on fire during the shooting of a Pepsi advert in 1984 is going to be turn into a diamonds. Yes a real diamond. Ralph Cohen, the executive producer of the video who have the hair when Jackson was hurried to the hospital. He kept it for 25 years after he sell it to John Reznikoff, largest and most expensive collectors of celebrity and historical hair. He collects the hair of well-known dead people, and has locks from a variety of celebrities including Albert Einstein, Napoleon and Abraham Lincoln.

He team up with a company called LifeGem that have this knowledge that can make a diamond from a lock of hair. The company previously worked with Reznikoff is creating a diamonds from Beethoven's hair. According to its founder: "Our plan is to give people an opportunity to own a diamond made from Michael Jackson's DNA.We are currently evaluating Jackson's hair sample to determine how many diamonds can be created.

Metalex Ventures Ltd. report diamondiferous kimberlite intersection from two drill holes on the Metalex - Arctic Star Diamond Corp - Big Red Diamond Corp joint venture on claims optioned from Dumont Nickel Inc.. The claims are situated 7 kilometers south of the Victor Diamond Mine.

Samples from the eight core holes reported as kimberlite on June 19th, 2009 have now been analyzed for diamonds by the C.F. Mineral Research Ltd. laboratory and complete results are presented here.

C. F. Minerals reports that two clear white microdiamonds were recovered from an 8.64 kg (19.0 lb) sample of kimberlite breccia recovered in drill core from between 5.8 and 25.3 meters (19 and 83 feet) below surface. The sample also contained G10 garnets as well as chrome diopsides and one olivine grain. All of these grains were determined to be of diamond inclusion composition by microprobe analysis.
A 6.18 kg (13.6 lb) core sample from a second drill hole contained a natural clear white microdiamond. The sample material was also identified as kimberlite breccia and was intersected between 30.5 and 39.6 meters (100 and 130 feet) below surface. This sample also contained G10 garnets as well as a chromite and chrome diopside grains, all with diamond inclusion compositions.

These results are considered most encouraging because small samples of kimberlites in that area such as those at the nearby Victor Diamond Mine, typically do not contain abundant microdiamonds.

An additional 13 possible kimberlite core intersections from drill holes completed in the same claim area have been submitted to C.F. Minerals for diamond and diamond indicator mineral analysis.

Until the beginning of the Internet, retail stores had only been brick and mortar. Everybody had to shop and purchase at a physical location. The Internet has risen to the challenge in changing this process and making it possible to purchase items by factually clicking a button. As the Internet swept across the world, people loved the fact they were able to shop in the console of their own house. It seems most people like the fact they could shop in their pajamas and not be bothered by pesky sales personnel. Though these things are very nice, most have found several other popular benefits.

Diamonds, just similar to all retail items, can be purchased online. But, shopping for diamonds online might have more positive aspects than the average retail product. Listed below are some of the profits of researching, shopping and purchasing diamond jewelry online.

1. Price - This is a hard thing to overlook. Most online jewelry stores do not have much fixed cost. This can radically reduce operating costs. Normally these discounts are passed onto the customer.

2. Sales Tax - If you purchase jewelry outside of the state you are presently living, retailers will not collect sales tax.

3. Lack of Sales Professionals - This is not to bash all individuals in sales, though, some sales people can be very pushy and make the decision process very difficult. Shopping on the Internet removes the unwise decisions made because of a pushy sales person.

4. High Volumes of Inventory - When you are not confined by walls, your ability to offer large quantities significantly increases. This is the case for all online diamond retailers. More online companies seem to offer thousands of products.

There are some negatives to purchasing diamonds online but they can be easily occupied by shopping wise. Purchasing online can save you a amount of money. Take your time and ask more questions.
